1. Booking, Confirmation & Payment• A 25% deposit is required to secure your tour dates. The deposit enables us to confirm accommodations and secure the booking.• Full payment is required for bookings made within 90 days.• A written confirmation will be issued to finalize a binding contract between us, which is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts and governed by the laws of Ireland.• The remaining balance must be paid 90 days before departure; failure to do so may result in the booking being cancelled.• Payments are accepted in local currency Euro via credit card or bank transfer/wire. Clients are responsible for any associated bank charges. Note:• Please inform us via email when making bank/wire transfer so that we can expect payment.• We recommend advising your bank of the transfer in advance to avoid transaction delays.Please find below link to our bank details for bank/wire transfers:
2. Client Alterations• Requests to modify dates or itineraries after confirmation will be accommodated where possible, though additional costs may apply.• Accommodation changes are free up to 6 months before the tour. Changes within 6 months may incur fees.• No itinerary or accommodation changes are allowed within 90 days of the tour, as these will be treated as new bookings with associated costs.
3. Client Cancellations• Deposits: 50% refundable for cancellations made 91+ days before the tour start date. Non-refundable for cancellations within 90 days of the start date.• Balance Payments: Non-refundable unless the tour is cancelled by Leafy Green Tours Limited.
4. Alterations or Cancellations by Leafy Green Tours Limited• While every effort is made to deliver the confirmed arrangements, changes or cancellations may occur due to unavoidable circumstances.• If the tour is cancelled by Leafy Green Tours Limited, clients will receive a full refund of the tour price (excluding non-refundable elements) or alternative travel arrangements.• Incidental expenses are not covered, but assistance with alternative transport will be provided.
5. Driver Guide and Transport• Unless otherwise stated, your tour includes the services of a private driver guide for approximately 8 hours per day. Please ensure to always treat your driver guide with respect and respect the timing, weather and trip advice from your driver guide, who is your go-to expert for the trip. • Driver guides reserve the right to refuse requests that may compromise safety, legal obligations, or the agreed itinerary.
6. Hiking and Outdoor Activities• Clients must ensure they are physically fit for any outdoor activities included in the itinerary.• The company is not liable for injuries, accidents, or loss of property during hiking or other outdoor activities. • Appropriate outdoor gear must be worn; failure to do so may result in exclusion from activities. Feel free to ask your Trip Co-ordinator for advice on appropriate gear.
7. Luggage• We recommend travelling as light as possible. Please ensure you can carry your own luggage easily as you will be changing accommodations/travelling regularly. We recommend approx. 25lb/12kg luggage per person. • All luggage and personal belongings are your responsibility at all times. We cannot be held liable for any loss or damage to your luggage or personal items. We strongly advise ensuring your insurance policy covers baggage and personal possessions.
8. Insurance• Clients are responsible for obtaining their own comprehensive travel and health insurance covering trip cancellations, medical emergencies, personal belongings and other liabilities.• Clients must confirm that any activities they wish to undertake on their tour are covered under their policy.
9. Liability• The company will not be held liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by weather, road conditions, or other circumstances beyond its control.• While every effort is made to ensure client safety, clients participate in activities at their own risk.
10. Code of Conduct• Clients are expected to respect local customs, the environment, and the driver guide’s instructions.• The company reserves the right to terminate services without refund for clients displaying inappropriate or unsafe behaviour.
11. Data ProtectionClient data will be handled in compliance with GDPR and used solely for booking and communication purposes.
12. Governing LawThese terms and conditions are governed by Irish law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Irish courts.
13. Photos & Marketing• During your tour, your driver guide will ask to take photos, solely for marketing purposes of Leafy Green Tours Limited. If you would prefer your photos not be used for marketing purposes, please let your driver guide know and we will respect your preferences.
